Travis Kelce is back in the headlines, but the latest discussion is with her former partner of 5 years, Kyla Nicole.

She openly talked about her love life in "Unapologetically Angel", Which ultimately got her into serious trouble.

During that podcast, Nicole admitted she once dressed up as her ex's new girlfriend for Halloween as "petty revenge" after being dumped via text for a singer/actress that some fans linked with Kelce and Taylor Swift.

After narrating this story, she reaches out to her ex apologizing.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking. I'm trying to tell a funny story on the spot. I did not mean to do that."

However, the apology is not for Kelce but for NBA star Iman Shumpert, who recently confirmed this during his interview on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast on Wednesday.

Shumpert addresses the storytelling of Nicole, "I don't know why she brought it up, honestly, but Kay and I are good friends. It's not like a thing where I'm going to be mad at her because she did that. She lowkey was just speaking her truth. It was a funny story, honestly. "

While Iman Shumpert laughed off it as "a funny story," the timing of the controversy hasn't been ideal for Kelce and his fiancée.

Taylor Swift has often expressed a desire to keep her life private. However, the renewed attention on Travis’s past may feel especially frustrating for her fans.

Nicole has been connected to Travis Kelce multiple times. As she was in the spotlight during the Super Bowl event, she faced major backlash due to her comment.

In the event she appeared for the sports app Sleeper with Ben Simmons and Tiffany Haddish in the ad, Nicole joked about wanting to end her ex-girlfriend.

“Simmons & Haddish promised me that they could put an end to this whole ex-girlfriend fiasco quickly.” In which the NBA player responded, "That doesn't sound right, I said swiftly!"

It's not new that Nicole always gets into the drama, even in her recent TikTok livestream.

When asked why her last relationship didn't work out, she said, "Who knows? Could be compatibility issues, right person, wrong time".

In her defence of recent controversy, she posted an Instagram story, “If you ever find yourself confused about my business, understand it’s because you're not supposed to be concerned with it to begin with.”
