Patrick Mahomes' focus is firmly on the Kansas City Chiefs' preparations for the 2026 season. But once away from the practice field, the quarterback didn't miss any opportunity to appreciate a heartwarming family moment. 

On August 6, Brittany Mahomes shared a photo dump from a tropical beach vacation with the couple's children on Instagram. Although Patrick remained with the Chiefs and couldn't join them, he was definitely keeping up with updates about the getaway.

"❤️," Patrick Mahomes reacted to his wife's Instagram post, which featured fun moments from their stay at a tropical resort.

Brittany captioned the Instagram post, "My babies," along with a star and a white heart emoji. The carousel gave fans a glimpse of her trip with their three children. One of the photos featured them posing with Mickey Mouse in coordinated outfits.

 For the outing, Brittany wore a white off-the-shoulder maxi dress paired with animal-print slide sandals. Her son wore a matching blue-and-white floral shirt and shorts, while her youngest daughter appeared in a blue palm-print dress. 

Their older daughter complemented Brittany's look in a sleeveless white dress, and Mickey Mouse joined the family in a bright pink tropical shirt and blue shorts.

Away from the beach vacation update, Brittany Mahomes has also reached another milestone through her involvement with the Kansas City Current soccer team. 

Brittany Mahomes celebrates KC Current's latest milestone 

According to Anne Erickson of Sports Illustrated, Brittany Mahomes recently celebrated a major milestone as KC Current Studios officially opened its doors on August 3, marking a new chapter for the National Women's Soccer League club. 

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are partial owners of the Kansas City Current alongside co-founders Angie and Chris Long. The new studio, located at Current Landing, was officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony. 

"We are thrilled to open KC Current Studios at such a monumental moment in media,” Angie and Chris Long said in a statement. “We believe that the stories surrounding women's sports are every bit as powerful as the competition itself.” 

The new facility is another step in Angie and Chris Long's efforts to support women's sports through storytelling, education and original media. KC Current Studios will also serve as a content hub for the Kansas City Current, CPKC Stadium and Current Landing.
