Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding was supposed to dominate the charts. However, as per sports Analyst Skip Bayless, the Argentina vs. Cape Verde clash eclipsed their big day, big time.

“Argentina-Cape Verde>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Swift-Kelce,” wrote the analyst on his X handle.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had it all behind them: Madison Square Garden, A-list celebrities, Times Square lit up with "Just T Wedding" billboards, and a $20 million budget. But despite that, the Argentina-Cape Verde clash stole the day from them, at least as per Bayless.

Despite playing in their first World Cup, Cape Verde gave Argentina a run for their money. The match was perfectly poised at 1-1 as extra time began.

The defending champions looked helpless against the tournament underdogs, but ‘La Albiceleste’ ultimately edged the thriller 3-2.

While Argentina won the match, Cape Verde's performance forced fans to tip their hats in respect. It was truly a David vs. Goliath moment.

Skip Bayless was so mesmerized by the match that he even took a swipe at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for not allowing guests to bring their phones inside Madison Square Garden.

“How dare Taylor Swift make her guests miss this Messi-Cape Verde knockout match. They aren't even allowed to keep tabs on their phones! She should've postponed,” wrote the analyst on X.

Following Argentina's 3-2 victory over Cape Verde, the defending champions are now set to face Egypt in Atlanta.

Well, Taylor Swift did say she wanted her wedding to be private yet celebratory, and she got exactly that. Interestingly, the ceremony took an unexpected turn.

Guess who officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?

After months of speculation and rumors, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are finally married, saying “I do” at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

According to the NY Times, the celebrity couple ditched the traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Taylor’s brother, Austin, was her ‘Man of honour', and Jason Kelce was Travis’ best man'.

And while we're at it, Hollywood comedian Adam Sandler was the one who officiated the wedding.

“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married. Austin was her 'Man of Honor,' and Jason Kelce was Travis' best man, according to a representative for the pop star. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler,” wrote the New York Times on X.

Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Camila Cabello, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Jason Sudeikis, Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, and Gigi Hadid joined the celebrations, while other celebrities and NFL stars lit up Madison Square Garden.

That said, what are your thoughts about the wedding?
