After a season where the team struggled in the ground game, the Chiefs are looking for a versatile player in the NFL Scouting Combine, and Jeremiyah Love can be a good answer for it as he reflects his intrest to be on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Recently, Love participated in the Draft combine. He drew the headline with a 4.36-second 40-yard dash, which is the second fastest time among the Running Backs, which made him a top choice for the teams.

When asked about where he sees himself lining up, Love expressed, “I wanna play with the best quarterback. So you know who that is,."

He went on to say, "I'd be close to home, feel like Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback as of right now. It would be an honor to play with him."

Adding Love to the Chiefs will bring them closer to being a winning team. As he had a splendid performance in the 2025 season with 1,372 rushing yards, proving his ability to handle the pressure of the game and 18 touchdowns with 6.9 yards per carry, which highlights his big-play potential.

As Love is quite aware of the Chiefs' coaching style that will make learning the game easy and fit well in the team. His presence alone changes how defensive coordinators must prepare for Kansas City, as he effectively acts as a second primary receiver.

Love influence in the red zone would turn close games favourable for Mahomes and the team.

Teams That Might Draft Jeremiyah Love Other Than the Chiefs

Jeremiyah Love has been on spotlight with his consistent performance and his recent appearance on the draft, which makes him a valuable candidate that teams want to draft to improve their performance in the game

However, the Chiefs see him as a good player, but the Tennessee Titans view Jeremiyah Love as a "can't-miss" prospect. According to Mathew Berry, "The Tennessee Titans think Jeremiyah Love is the best player in the NFL Draft. "

With Love's skills and his speed, he can provide good support to quarterback Cam Ward. By getting Love on their side, Tennessee could be able to focus more on building a high-powered offence around an explosive playmaker who is capable of scoring from anywhere in the field.
