Congratulations pour in as former Chiefs star JuJu Smith-Schuster ties the knot

JuJu Smith-Schuster knew Laura Kruk was the one within months after first meeting her. Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver tied the knot in a star-studded wedding on July 10 and posted pictures of their wedding, sharing a glimpse of the special day.

“the best day of our lives. 7.10.2026,” Kruk, a fitness instructor captioned their Instagram post.

The ocean-side wedding ceremony took place at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Laguna Niguel, California. They first connected in January when Smith-Schuster, now a New York Giants player, was still with the Chiefs. Kruk, at the time, lived in Arizona, and they were instantly enamored.

“I went out to visit her on my playoff off week,” Smith-Schuster told Vogue. “First time seeing her, I said, ‘Wow, you are so beautiful.’”

The two spent the entire trip getting to know one another. Kruk introduced Smith-Schuster to her favorite restaurants and friends, and they even got in a few workout sessions together.

In less than a year, the couple was engaged to be married. On September 7, as the sun set, Smith-Schuster got down on one knee and asked the question.

“Yes,” she replied. “It was a phenomenal day.”

Surrounded by white flowers and music, the two vowed to cherish one another forever. The couple wed in front of family and friends, including Smith-Schuster's Chiefs friends.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was accompanied by his wife, Brittinay and newly weds Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were in attendance as well. The tight end and pop star married just days before this wedding in Madison Square Garden, New York.

After the couple shared the news and photos of their wedding on Instagram, friends and fans rushed to give their congratulations.

“PERFECTION,” Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes commented.

Laura Kruk wore a Steven Khalil gown. Made of lace with ruched tulle over it, she paired it with a long veil.

“you look so beautiful!!! congratulations,” a fan wrote about her.

In one of the photos, JuJu Smith-Schuster is seen mid-dance during his entrance as everyone cheered for him.

“The FUNNEST & KINDEST COUPLE!! And the absolute best day!!” another commented.

“Ju (heart emoji),” wrote Xavier Worthy, his former Kansas City Chiefs teammate.

“Congratulations (heart emoji),” one fan said, mirroring hundreds of comments.
