The Kansas City Chiefs found a way to connect with the younger audience by launching an animated YouTube series.

The series ‘KC Wolf’ launched on May 30, with the first two episodes being released on the team’s official YouTube channel. The Chiefs' Vice President of Brand Marketing and Fan Engagement, Lauren Denowitz, explained the new initiative.

"KC Wolf has always had a way of connecting with people that goes beyond the game, and 'KC Wolf Jamz' is an opportunity to bring that to life for a much broader audience," Denowitz said in the press release.

Moreover, the series will contain six episodes, which include short-form music videos of 30 to 60 seconds with a mix of humor and life lessons in a storytelling way.

It all started in 1989, when the team introduced KC Wolf as a way to connect with fans. The name comes from Kansas City and the “Wolfpack,” who are a group of loyal fans in the 1960s who sat in the old stadium to support the team.

"We set out to create something that feels true to the personality and spirit of the Chiefs but is also universally relatable for kids and families everywhere, whether they follow football or not,” Denowitz continued. “This is another exciting step in building original, character-led content that can stand on its own and connect with audiences in new ways."

Along with the team's digital engagement, the Chiefs are also seen taking part in community work.

Andy Reid Supports Kansas City Landmark Cause

Head coach Andy Reid joined the annual “Grilling Brats and Burgers with Coach Reid” fundraiser in Westport on Saturday.

The event was held to raise funds to restore the 1855 Harris-Kearney House, one of Kansas City’s oldest historic homes that now needs repair.

“I think it’s important just from the standpoint of Kansas City and maintaining the history of Kansas City. This is a part of it, and the more we can keep it around for the young people, I think the better,” Reid said.

According to organizers, Andy and Tammy Reid have donated more than $100,000 so far. The gathering brought community members together with a shared goal of preserving local history.

The project includes work such as wood replacement, shutter repairs in the upper rooms, and fixing cracks in the building walls. The restoration project is expected to cost nearly $500,000 to complete.
