The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are looking at ways to improve their wide receiver rooms this offseason. According to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, both teams could add more pass-catching help as the offseason moves forward.
During an appearance on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Saturday, NFL insider Jeremy Fowler discussed the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens while talking about potential wide receiver moves this offseason.
“A lot of free agent receivers available," Fowler said. "You've got Keenan Allen, you've got Stefon Diggs, you've got Tyreek Hill, and you have a lot of teams that need help. Kansas City Chiefs are a little thin at receiver. Baltimore Ravens a little thin.”

The Chiefs are entering the 2026 season with Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Tyquan Thornton expected to handle larger roles at wide receiver following Hollywood Brown’s departure to the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency.
Despite early rumors linking the Kansas City Chiefs to several top receiver prospects, the franchise ended up selecting just one wideout in the draft with fifth-round pick Cyrus Allen.
That has naturally fueled speculation about Kansas City potentially adding more veteran help at the position, with former Chiefs star Tyreek Hill standing out.
With Patrick Mahomes still recovering from a knee injury, the Chiefs’ depth at the position is expected to remain under focus during offseason workouts.
“So teams are sort of seeing what they have at OTAs and minicamp, if they have enough from their young players, they could go and try to make a move,” Fowler concluded.
OTA workouts start for many teams next week, while, on the other hand, mandatory minicamps are scheduled for June. Those sessions could help both teams evaluate their current pass-catching options before making any further moves in free agency.
While other free agents remain an option, one former New England Patriots receiver and a four-time Pro Bowler continues to be heavily linked to Kansas.
Chiefs Continue to Be Linked To Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs has recently been linked to the Kansas City Chiefs following comments from NFL reporter Albert Breer while discussing possible landing spots for the veteran wide receiver.
“The Chiefs could make sense,” Breer said yesterday.
The analyst also mentioned the Washington Commanders, Atlanta Falcons, and the Los Angeles Rams as potential landing spots.
While Stefon Diggs may no longer be the unstoppable force fans saw during his peak years in the late 2010s and early 2020s, the veteran still showed he can produce at a 1,000-yard level in the right system.
Even after a productive campaign, the New England Patriots ultimately moved on from Diggs following the season because of his significant cap hit.
OTAs and minicamps are coming up, which will give the Chiefs a closer look at their current receiver group before training camp starts.
