One small moment involving the officiant from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding has come to light. Andy Reid has now revealed the advice Adam Sandler shared during the ceremony.
On July 6, Krysyan Edler of the Deseret News shared a video on X in which the Chiefs coach recalled the advice actor and comedian Adam Sandler gave Kelce and Swift.
"Adam Sandler conducted the service there, and he told them to keep kissing," Reid said. "So, in its simplest form, that's a good thing. It's hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss…In a simple, hysterical way, he was phenomenal…But that part there, I thought, pretty good advice in its simplest form.”
Reid spoke about the wedding while serving as the guest narrator for the "Music and the Spoken Word" broadcast in Salt Lake City, held to mark America's 250th anniversary.
Reid's recollection gave a small glimpse into the celebration and the role Sandler played on the special day.
His wife, Tammy Reid, also spoke during the event and pointed to communication as the foundation of a strong marriage.
"I would say communicate, which is big. I mean, we kind of live two different lives,” she said. “He's at football, and I'm at home... So I think just communicate, know where everybody is all the time... That's the way you stay involved with your family. But yeah, talk about everything."
Reid's comments weren't the only thing from the wedding to come out, as another detail also came out.
Adam Aron’s wedding post reveals new details on ceremony
On July 5, The Hollywood Reporter shared on its official X account details from a now-deleted tweet by AMC CEO Adam Aron, giving a glimpse into Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding, including the venue decor and wedding vows.
“AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron posted an insider's account of the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding on X before deleting the post, On Madison Square Garden's transformation: “Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age,” the X post read. “On Swift's gown: "...a stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train.”
With the ceremony largely kept private, the post gave fans a rare look at a few moments from the celebration.
